We've found a new pest in Kansas - chiggers. I've never been around these before, but they are not pleasant. You can't see them, but as Jeremiah and I are finding out, their bites really itch. Kansas is really suprising me. I didn't think it was wet enough here for those.

Put clear nailpolish on the spots where they enter your skin. It suffocates them. Gross but we had them in PA and it always worked to get rid of them.
ewww. chiggers and ticks....yuck! i have never heard of chiggers before, but they sound dreadful. kansas is keeping you on your toes, that's for sure!

Leah - you get so much moisture out there I bet you have worse things than chiggers! But yeah, I have had the bites for a week and a half and they still itch some!
