June

Wow, it has been nearly 2 months since I have posted on here. I guess a lot has happened. Jeremiah and I have been married for 7 years now and Garrett is almost 20 months. Shayla is already planning her 5th birthday party. So here is one recent pic of the kids - I had to make one post while it was still June. More to come soon ... hopefully.

The Groomer Was a Nice Lady ....

Well, I took Callie to the groomer and we came back with what she calls "the lion". Ummm ... ok. We don't have clippers, so we just wanted to get Callie trimmed up a bit. Her hair was a mess. These pics don't do the trim justice. The hair around her head, tail and legs is long and the middle is trimmed down short. Callie was so ashamed when we brought her home she ran into the house and didn't want to leave or get her pic taken!

New Kittens

To say that Shayla was excited about these new babies is an understatement! She wants to spend hours with them!

Planting the Garden

The kids had fun putting in the garden last week

Coloring

Shayla spends a lot of time coloring lately. She likes to print pics from the Internet. She can go on the site and print them herself, which makes her pretty proud :)

Garrett's Wranglers

As of today, Garrett can finally wear his Wranglers. As an added bonus, the last pic shows his classic pouty face (Which usually appears when he gets told no). No one can do it as good as he can.

Early March

Garrett is really good at using his spoon. Is it me or is he starting to look more like a little boy than a baby? Shay just finished her ballet class and was actually kind of glad it was over. In the last pic, Shayla set up a blanket so she and Garrett could have a picnic

New Calves

Last weekend the kids really enjoyed seeing the new calves (and the horses) at the research farm with Justin and Kati.

Getting Ready for Easter

Shayla is so excited about Easter - she even sleeps with her Easter basket every night (seriously)

Bowling

The rec center had a mother/daughter bowling night a few weeks ago. Shayla bowled for the first time and loved it. She is already planning a bowling birthday party :)

Showing off for the Camera

Both kids really like to get their pic taken!
