February

Wow, what well-behaved, scholarly kids. (For the moment to take the pic at least!) :)

After the kids get up in the morning they like to drink milk and watch a cartoon about trains.

Shayla thoroughly enjoys the holidays. She was proud of the Valentine mailbox she made

Shayla is already ready for Easter!

Ballet

Our rec center has been holding a special ballet class this month. Shayla has been enjoying it.

Winter

As you can see from most of her photos, Shayla hasn't quite figured out how to give a normal smile when her pic is being taken.

It has been cold here this winter. We haven't gotten large accumulations of snow, but we have gotten snow showers regularly and lots of 20 and 30 degree days. Shayla is hoping we will get a big snow so she can rider her snowmobile.

Shooting

We had a nice day in mid January and did some trap and rifle shooting with our friends/neighbors Justin and Kati.

The back of the pickup made a good corral for Garrett!

Cool Kid

Garrett loves to try on glasses!

He was pretty proud when he figured out how to stick a straw on his teeth

Research Farm

One of our neighbors manages the cattle at the K State Research Farm. They just started calving, so we went up there to see some new calves. The kids had a great time and enjoyed the calves, cats and horses. Shayla even rode with our friend Justin to feed.

Snow Day

In mid January Jeremiah and Shayla enjoyed making a snowman and playing in the snow.

Early January

I have no idea what Garrett was so excited about ... either the fact that he can climb in the chair by himself, or the fan
Nope, it is not summer in Kansas, Shayla just dressed herself.
Big, sticky, sugary, messy Christmas suckers - thanks to Becki and Kurt. I am looking forward to the time when those two have kids!

Late December

Garrett really enjoys books these days. We really have to watch him though, one of his favorite activities is biting the spines off board books!
