Garrett is at the top of Shayla's favorite things list right now. She wants to hold him and get her picture taken with him all the time.

Self-Medicating

Last week, Garrett had croup and an ear infection. Poor guy!

4-Wheeler

One of Jeremiah and Shayla's favorite things to do is ride the 4-wheeler. Shayla is proud that she can start it herself.

The house we're renting is about 10 miles south of Hays. The first pic is the front door view, the second 2 are from the back deck.

3 1/2

Shayla turned 3 1/2 last week. Her 2 favorite things right now are her cat and dog. She drags Callie all over the house and outside on a leash. Patches gets carried everywhere. Shayla also likes to pretend. She makes up words and likes to play any pretend game she can come up with. Though she was shy when she was younger, she has become very social and wants to play with any kid she sees anywhere (like at the grocery store.) She "helps" me a lot too. Dishes are her favorite thing because she gets to play in water.

4 Months

Garrett turned 4 months on the 3rd of March. He enjoys sitting up whenever he can and standing (if someone is holding him of course). He can almost roll over, but prefers to turn himself in circles with his legs. He usually sleeps through the night now, but doesn't enjoy naps longer than 20 minutes. His favorite toy is his plastic phone. Ironically that is one of Shayla's favorites right now too ... At his checkup on the 5th he weighed 13lbs 9 oz.

Tough Economic Times

Due to the difficult economy, I am selling many things on E-bay, including Shayla's bed. So she is now forced to sleep on the coffee table.

Well, just kidding of course, but I do have no idea why she likes to lay there instead of the couch when she watches a movie. She even likes to have her snack there. It does make me wonder why we did spend money on a bed for her or a table ...
